Holiday Inn Express Lincoln City Centre is set directly across from the University, within the primary business district of the city, yet just 20 minutes away from the Cathedral and Castle. The shopping district and waterfront are also within a 10-minute walk. Modern white seven storey purpose built property - Opened in December 2008. The "great room" as the hotel call it is where guests can meet and socialise with soft background music and plasma TV. Here is also where the reception and bar area are located. With a good central location coupling accessibility and excellent price, this contemporary new hotel is a good choice for anyone visiting Lincoln. Hotel has free Wifi throughout and private parking is available on site at a cost of 4gbp per day As a purpose built new hotel, there are 118 contemporary-style bedrooms. All have TV with radio and satelite channels and pay per view movie channels. All rooms have Power Showers in the bathroom with night light effect, Sound proof windows and black out curtains for a relaxing and peaceful nights sleep. All rooms are in excellent condition. As this is an Express hotel, there are no full restaurant facilities.
