Each of the five beachfront cottages features a spacious split level lounge and patio, while the large wrap-around decks and private plunge pools are features of the 17 hillside pool suites. Three of these in premium category, afford the added luxury of soaking up the Caribbean sun from the privacy of your own sun bathing deck. Recently awarded with Trip Advisor's "2012 Travelers' Choice Award in the All Inclusive Category", the hotel boasts of accommodating each guests every request. Whether enjoying lunch by the pool, dining in the beachfront restaurant, or having breakfast in bed, every meal feels privately catered. The menus change daily for lunch and dinner and feature freshly squeezed local juices, locally grown produce, and organic ingredients. At Hermitage Bay, all meals are a la carte and are prepared to order, special requests are encouraged, and the kitchen is always ready to deal with special dietary requests. Though it is often said that the entire Hermitage Bay experience feels like a pampered massage, guest may also enjoy actual spa treatments influenced by the ancient eastern concept of Chakra at our Garden Spa. Hermitage Bay is about 40 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes from the capital of St. John's and just 10 minutes away from the Jolly Harbour marina complex that offers shops, restaurants, golf and tennis. While the hotel is close enough to accommodate day trips into town or excursions around the island, there is private dirt road that separates Hermitage Bay from the rest of the world.
