The Helderview Homestead Hotel is located within one of the best residential areas of Somerset West, on a hill with the most magnificent views imaginable. A small road leads into the parklike estate of 6650 m². Helderview offers 10 apartments of highest luxury. All are furnished in the old colonial style and still provide the necessary modern comforts. They have a lounge and dining room, a well-appointed kitchenette, satellite TV, phone, internet access, laptop plug-in, hifi system with a large selection of CDs, DVD-player and air-conditioning. All the apartments offer our guests a panoramic view from the terrace down to the sea and to the Hottentot Hollands Mountains. Helderview has a quiet and, nevertheless, central position. In the closer vicinity, 10 minutes by car, you find all sorts of shops, from the baker around the corner to the most exclusive shopping centre, antique shops, restaurants, beer garden and coffeeshops. It also takes you 10 minutes to get to the False Bay beaches. The Homestead is the ideal base to explore everything the Cape has to offer. Cape Town International Airport is a 20 minutes' drive away. A small conference room for 10 delegates with all the required electronic equipment is part of the house as well as a big lounge with breakfast room and a romantic outside terrace. Expansive, parklike gardens with shady Cape Pines and beautiful lawns invite you to relax. And, of course, a generously laid-out seawater swimming pool and a gym are part of the house's amenities.
