Facilities The hotel has defined luxury on the 'Big Island' since opening in 1994 and completed Laurance Rockefeller's vision of two luxury properties on two of the finest beaches in the world. Contemporarily bold architecture offers nature to blend in with open-air public areas. Enter onto the 8th floor and immediately see the blue of the ocean, the white of the sand and greens of the landscaping, while smelling the fragrance of the plumeria trees scattered throughout the property. The property provides an escape with unparalleled service and excellent cuisine to tempt the taste buds. In addition to the 350 guest rooms and suites, this air-conditioned establishment provides a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a hairdressing salon. The hotel caters for all possible culinary desires at the cafe or one of the 6 other eateries. Business guests may take advantage of the excellent conference facilities, while children will be entertained at the kids' club (fees apply). For an extra fee, guests may also benefit from WLAN Internet access, room service and a laundry service, while those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the hotel car park or garage. How to get there From Kailua-Kona International Airport: take a left out of the airport and drive for about 45 minutes. Enter the gates on the right-hand side of the road which will lead under the main road to the ocean side of the road.
