Located 12 kms north of the renowned eco-marine town of Kaikoura. Hapuku Lodge is a contemporary country inn set within an expansive deer farm and 1000 tree olive grove. Nestled between the Kaikoura Seaward Mountain Range and famed Mangamaunu Bay the Lodge boasts to be situated in one of the most spectacular settings in New Zealand. This special Lodge is situated in a spectacular location that offers magnificent mountain and ocean views. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy all the delights that the renowned eco-marine Kaikoura has to offer. Complimentary transfers are available on arrival in Kaikoura to Hapuku Lodge & return to Kaikoura on departure. Any additional transfers can be arranged (at an additional cost) direct with the Lodge. SE0908. Designed as a contemporary country lodge, there are a variety of room types spread over the property. Meals are served in the Main lodge dining room and can be communal with other guests or private dining can be arranged. Taking advantage of seasonal ingredients, sourced whenever possible from local organic farmers. Small functional lobby. The Olive House Apartment features a modern kitchen, handcrafted furniture, fireplace, European style bathroom with a two person spa bath, & laundry and is an excellent option for families needing a bit more space. SE0908. The treehouses are unique to New Zealand accessed via exterior stairway the bedroom and bathroom are set within the upper tree line. Affording excellent views. European style bathrooms with heated floors and handcrafted furniture. Rooms are very tastefully decorated and all offer spectacular views. Rooms also feature DVD/CD players, flat screen TVs, 3 data ports for keeping in touch, plus coffee and tea pots. 1 km to the nearest beach, 12 km to the nearest station (kaikoura), 12 kms to city centre, 195 kms to the nearest airport (christchurch).
