Built in 2008, the business hotel offers a unique ambience and features classic Chinese architecture. It was once the residence of a Chinese noble family. With 33 Western and Chinese deluxe rooms and suites, splendid Chinese and Western restaurants, VIP rooms, recreational facilities, a lounge, spa, and red wine room and cigar bar in the basement, this stylish boutique hotel provides guests with exceptional relaxation and dining options. Facilities available to guests in the air-conditioned hotel include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, cloakroom, newspaper stand, auditorium, and a caf and bar. Guests may also take advantage of the conference facilities, laundry service (fees apply) and car park. This themed business hotel is just a few minutes' walk from major tourist destinations, such as South Luoguxiang, Houhai, the Central Drama Academy, and the renowned Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square are within close proximity. Guests will also find the Wangfujing shopping centre less than 3 km away and the nearest airport is a 45-minute drive from the design hotel. All of the Chinese-style rooms have private studies and reception rooms, and feature regal decor and ancient furniture typical of the Ming and Qing dynasties. All rooms feature an en suite room with shower, bathtub and hairdryer, as well as a double bed, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, radio, hi-fi and a private balcony or terrace.
