The Halfway House Inn, St Jidgey is a family run Freehouse offering good homecooked food, real ales, wood burning stoves, large car park and bed and breakfast accommodation in en -suite double, twin, single and family rooms. Arrivals are welcome 12-2 and 5:30-10:00 (our winter hours are slightly different so please check with us). We are located in the north of Cornwall on the A39 between Wadebridge and St Columb Major, 2 miles past the Royal Cornwall Showground, approximately 6 miles from Padstow , 4 miles from Wadebridge and 10 miles from Newquay. We are in a great position for visiting or as a base for touring. The pub is within easy reach of some of Cornwalls biggest attractions, the Eden Project at St Austell, Lanhydrock House at Bodmin, Crealy Adventure Park, Port Isaac - home of Doc Martin, the harbour town of Padstow, the Camel Trail (Bodmin Wadebridge Padstow), and the ancient Saints Way footpath. Please note that all rooms and decking areas are non-smoking - there are designated smoking areas provided at the front and back of the buildings. Guests who smoke in their rooms will be asked to leave with no refund and be charged an additional fee to cover the cost of cleaning. Mattress Protectors are available by pre-arrangement. Please note that damage to property will be charged for.
