Gregans Castle Hotel is a four star hotel in Ballyvaughan, Ireland. Ballyvaughan is an area filled with ancient ruins, local craft and gift shops, seaside villages and local pubs. Guests can explore The Cliffs of Moher, the steepest cliffs in Europe, The Burren, a unique area filled with interesting flora and fauna, geology, archaeology, ancient settlements and ecclesiastical sites, or the Aran Islands, a group of three islands known for their traditional lifestyle and culture. Other activities include golf, fishing, cycling, hiking, horseback riding, clay pigeon shooting, surfing, and rock climbing. After a long day of sightseeing, go back to the hotel and enjoy luxury treatment. Go for a stroll through the gardens, enjoy a delicious meal in the dining room, which serves locally produced meat, seafood, and vegetables in a warm atmosphere, sip on a pint or cup of tea at the bar, unwind with an in-room massage, or relax with a book or a board game in the hotel’s drawing room. There is also a small gallery selling Irish Art, by appointment only, located in the hotel. Wireless internet access is available. Pets are welcome.
