Great Hallingbury Manor Hotel is a 4 star newly renovated Tudor style mansion. The hotel boasts 31 spacious and stylishly furnished bedrooms, all with big walk in wet rooms, plasma screen TV’s and complementary high speed internet access. Although only 2 miles from Stansted Airport, the surrounding countryside and lake view make for a very scenic setting. The hotel is complimented by Anton’s lakeside restaurant, several charming private function and meeting rooms and a stunning kitchen based chefs table, all overseen by world renowned Chef Patron Anton Edelmann. The hotel has an unrivaled extensive green policy which includes a ground-source heating system, on-site composting and home grown and reared produce. The hotel has won several awards for it’s carbon neutral efforts amongst which the HBAA Best Environmental Practice 2008 and 2009 and Best Small Hotel and most sustainable tourism in Essex 2009. The landscaped gardens around the hotel are also home to The Great Hallingbury Manor Marquee. With wooden floors, chandeliers, stylish bar, elegant furniture and the latest in sound and light equipment the marquee is an idyllic setting for the ultimate black tie dinner, award ceremony, party or any other large scale event. Recently added to the property is a Bed and Breakfast style 4 star guest house Hallingbury House, just across the road and offering comfortable and luxurious rooms at very competitive rates. Hallingbury House guest are welcome to use all the main hotel facilities.
