The Grande Albergo Hotel is located in a central location, close to the Sestri Levante promenade. Countless restaurants, bars, pubs, the beach and shops are located in the immediate vicinity. Convenient public transport links are located within 150 m and the train station is around 600 m away. Sestri Levante lies in the middle of the gulf of Tigullio, in a perfect location for trips to Cinque Terre and Portofino, which are easily reached by boat or train in the summer. Santa Margherita Ligure lies around 30 km away, Portofino is around 35 km away. Monterosso al Mare is roughly 44 km away, Genova and La Spezia are around 50 km and Portovenere is about 70 km from the hotel. The hotel is located around 55 km away from Christoph Columbus airport and Linate airport is around 170 km from the hotel. Newly opened in 2003, the Grande Albergo has been fully renovated and includes 68 rooms on 5 floors, including 4 suites and 2 wheelchair accessible rooms. The welcoming lobby offers a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom and lifts. The comfortable rooms have an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a minibar, heating, air conditioning, a hire safe and some feature a balcony with a partial view of the sea or the garden. Furthermore, the hotel includes the restaurant Delfino Bianco with classical regional cuisine and highchairs. In the summer, guests are able to enjoy their meals in the wonderful garden. In the American bar, Jolly 2, guests are able to try out the barman's cocktail specialities. In addition, the hotel includes conference facilities for business guests. Room and laundry services are also available as well as parking facilities (fees apply). From the swimming pool on the roof, guests have a view of the whole gulf of Tigullia and the mountains around the city. The beach directly in front of the hotel is open from June to September with small snacks. The complex features a poolside snack bar, as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols (fees apply). Within around 30 km, guests will reach the nearest golf course.
