Location The hotel is located on the slopes of the White Mountain Peak, (Pico Blanco range) of San Antonio, just minutes from the cosmopolitan city of Escazu and 15 minutes from the centre of San Jose. There are numerous restaurants, bars and shops nearby. The hotel provides convenient access to Juan Santamaria International Airport. Facilities The hotel is a luxurious 3-storey mansion which offers a haven from the bustling streets of San Jose, easy access to its many cultural attractions, tranquillity, luxury, romance and a classic colonial style in each of its accommodation units. Fully renovated in 2011, this charming club resort consists of a total of 25 rooms. Guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services. Facilities include air conditioning, a hotel safe, currency exchange, cloakroom, lift access to the upper floors, a newspaper stand, hairdressing salon, casino and a TV lounge. Conference facilities are available for business travellers. Guests can also take advantage of the wireless Internet access, as well as room and laundry services. Guests can wine and dine in the cafe, bar, pub or restaurant, whilst those arriving by car can leave their vehicle in the car park or garage. Rooms Each room is equipped with a double or king-size bed and elegantly designed furniture. All of the spacious rooms are equipped with cable TV and a balcony with panoramic views of the lush gardens. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a shower, bath and hairdryer. Further in-room amenities include a direct dial telephone, radio, hifi, Internet access, a safe, ironing set and individually regulated air conditioning. Sports/Entertainment Guests are invited to take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool with children's swimming area and poolside snack bar. Sun loungers with parasols are laid out on the sun terrace ready for use. Guests can work out in the gym or relax in the hot tub, sauna or steam room. The resort also offers massages and spa treatments. Pool/snooker, minigolf and golf round off the facilities on offer. Meals Guests can select breakfast from a continental buffet, whilst both lunch and dinner are available a la carte, from a set menu and in buffet form. Payment The hotel accepts American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and VISA as payment methods.
