The 5-star Grant Hyatt Taipei hotel is at the centre of the commercial Taipei city. Using nearby transport links guests can easily access shopping areas and attractions including the National Palace museum, Shihlin night market, Yangmingshan National Park and Langsham temple. The impressively large size of the hotel is matched by its luxurious design throughout, which aims to represent local culture while incorporating grand and innovative styles. Club Oasis features separate spa areas for men and women, which include a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. A meditation space in the men's area includes an odour and toxin absorbing charcoal wall while the women's area has a salt rock wall to encourage relaxation. In addition, Club Oasis incorporates separate cardio and muscle building gyms, both of which are open 24-hours. Guests can also take an exercise class, go for a swim in the hotel's outdoor pool or visit the salon for a beauty treatment. The hotel has an outstanding array of restaurants and bars within its complex. Guests are spoilt for choice with no less than eight establishments to delight their taste buds. Seafood restaurants include the Chinese recipe orientated Pearl Liang and Shanghai Court which also serves a range of other meat dishes, as does the US style Bel Air grill bar. Japanese cuisine can be found at Irodori while the Ziga Zaga restaurant serves Italian food. In fact, the cocktail serving eatery also acts as a bar and club in the small hours. Cheers restaurant encompasses an outdoor terrace where diners can enjoy live music while having lunch or a snack. The hotel cafe provides a buffet style service where guests can choose between cold and hot meals. It also has a juice and seafood bar. The Cha lounge is designed as a European style coffee house with live music and serves alcohol during the evenings. Additionally the Pool bar and Lobby Lounge provide drinks and snacks. Decorated in classic muted tones, guest rooms include an LCD TV, stereo, minibar, complimentary newspaper and chargeable high-speed internet access. Spacious marble baths and walk-in showers in the bathrooms add an extra luxurious quality. Extra hotel benefits include a currency exchange service and a library.
