The Grand Hotel San Pietro is just a short walk away from the town center of Taormina, Taormina is an ancient seaside town, located on a hillside. The historical center has Greek and Roman ruins, ancient churches, and shops and restaurants. Drivers arrive in Taormina via the A18 motorway. The airport is in Catania, an hour’s drive away. Taormina is on the Messina-Catania line, and both cities are served on a frequent basis. The 63 air-conditioned rooms in the Grand Hotel San Pietro have satellite television, Internet connections (for a fee), a minibar and a safe. The private bathrooms have bath/shower combinations, and provide slippers and bathrobes. Most rooms have balconies.
