The Grand Hotel Dore is located in the heart of the Daumesnil area, a stone's throw from the Viaduc des Arts, one of the most enchanting spots in Paris. The historic Marais, the Bastille (the centre of fashion and nightlife in Paris), the Bercy business district and the Gare de Lyon are also nearby. Notre Dame is about a 30 min walk away, whilst the Eiffel Tower can be reached in approx. 13 min by public transport. Orly International Airport and Charles de Gaulle International Airport are both approx. 25 km from the hotel. Grand Hotel Dore first opened its doors at the beginning of the 20th century. It is one of those Parisian hotels of charm and character, combining French tradition with a contemporary approach, which has always earned Paris its reputation. The hotel was completely renovated in 2006 using warm and noble materials, harmoniously blending the intimate with the functional, the beautiful with the modern, in order to live up to the expectations of both a business clientele and tourists eager to visit Paris. This attractive city hotel has 40 rooms in total and provides guests with facilities including air conditioning, an entrance lobby with 24-hour reception and check out services, a hotel safe, lift access, a TV lounge and a breakfast room. The hotel provides WLAN/Internet access for an additional fee. A continental breakfast buffet is served daily. Each of the hotel's 40 rooms has a personalised touch and the delicate charm of a cosy atmosphere. The dcor of every room is based on a specific theme composed of originality, elegance and refinement. A French designer decorated all the rooms with taste, skilfully preserving the charm of French tradition, but adding contemporary comfort and technology. To ensure a good nights rest, the rooms are equipped with the most modern air conditioning units, enabling guests to adjust the temperature as they please.
