The hotel is housed in a building which dates back to 1905. The red clinker facade, symmetrical arrangement and curved ornaments of the gable lend the former business and trade building a special charm. Guests will find this not only on the outside, but also in the inside, which features exquisite furniture. In the atrium, which features a fountain, guests may enjoy a newspaper or magazines. Guests can also enjoy exciting sport events in front of a big TV screen or play one of the plenty games on offer in the games room. For meetings or seminars, there are two conference rooms available that can accommodate up to 50 persons. The hotel offers 57 rooms in total spread over 5 floors. It has a 24-hour reception, breakfast room and lift access. There is a parking garage (subject to fees) located directly beside the hotel. The hotel is located right in the city centre of Kassel, just 3 minutes away from the central train station. In the nearby downtown area, guests can enjoy the city's nightlife or visit some of the various museums and sights on offer in the city, all of which can be reached easily by public transport. Konigstrasse with its shopping and tourist attractions is just a 10-minute walk away. Museum Fridericanium and the Orangerie/Planetarium are also both just a short walk away. Goettingen is some 50 km away. Wilhelmshohe mountain park and Castle Wilhelmshohe are both a 15-minute drive away.
