The Inn has been acclaimed as Charlestons most glamorous and sophisticated inn. Travel Holiday Guests at Governors House enjoy 12 ceilings, nine fireplaces, crystal chandeliers, family antiques, king or queen 4-poster beds, original hardwood floors, whirlpool baths, private porches and available suites. Ideally situated in the heart of the Historic District, the Inn is within walking distance of garden and house tours, the Battery, antique shopping, the Old Market, and fine restaurants. Check-in is at 2 30 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions.
