Positioned west of Oslo, Hotel Gaustad is set amid calm and peaceful surroundings, close to lush green forests that offer superb hiking opportunities. Hotel Gaustad is situated close to the marketplace. Hotel Gaustad has 124 stylishly furnished rooms of which 8 are kept for the disabled guests. All rooms have wooden furnishings and beautiful artwork on the walls. The colorful curtains and the soft tones offer a serene ambience. A bright and spacious dining room offers a variety of mouth watering menus; both local and international cuisine. In the dining room lunch, dinner and midday buffet is served while the bistro has both outdoor and indoor seating and offers simple fare. Gaustad hotel is owned by Rikshospitalet (The National Hospital) and is run by Norlandia Omsorg AS. The hotel is mainly for patients and relatives from the hospital, but external guests are welcome. Location: in a quiet area 3 km. to the west of oslo. close to the ulleval stadium and the famous holmenkollena and frognerseteren ski station.
