Business hours of reception: 24 hours Bandipur is a small Newari town located on the Prithvi highway, 143 km from Kathmandu. It is a half hour drive from the highway and is located at a height of 1400 m. Perched on top of a hill, this medieval Newari town used to be a trading stop, enroute from Tibet to Kathmandu. Kept preserved, this town hosts a blend of neo-classical and ethnic Newari architecture. Apart from the cultural beauty, Bandipur provides one of the most amazing views of the Himalayan range from Dhaulagiri to Ganesh Himal and the Marshyangdi valley below.
