Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula is an award-winning property situated in the northwest area of Costa Rica on the Pacific Ocean. It features sweeping panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Papagayo, two unspoiled beaches and an incredible natural setting in the middle of the dry tropical forest. The Resort's 155 guest rooms include Canopy Suites with plunge pools, which provide the feel of a luxury treehouse surrounded by the wildlife and natural beauty of Costa Rica. Accommodations also include several levels of standard rooms and private estates and villas, the largest of which can accommodate up to 10 adults and four children. Guests can be as relaxed or adventurous as they want at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica. Guests can take a dip in one of three large swimming pools or get a treatment at the Spa, or enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, surfing for all skill levels, zip-lining, bird-watching or trips to the local national parks, volcanos or coffee plantations, all of which can be arranged by the concierge. The Resort's Arnold Palmer Golf Course has 14 ocean view holes and is a Certified Audubon Sanctuary filled with native Costa Rican trees and animals, from parrots to pizotes to white faced monkeys. A daily environmental tour of the golf course is available, as is a brand new 9 hole mini golf course. The Resort has four Har-Tru tennis courts and lessons are available. Also popular at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica are complimentary classes in Spanish, cooking, flower arranging and salsa dancing as well as participation in our Growing Together volunteer program that enables guests to help local Costa Rican families and school children by donating a backpack or helping paint a school. The Resort's Kids for All Seasons center offers free daily activities for children 4-12 ranging from birdwatching to treasure collecting on the beach to soccer and arts and crafts. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
