This is a great ski hotel, ideally located for the excellent skiing found in the Southern Are alps. There are now 10 lifts & over 22 slopes as well as 12 miles of long distance tracks in the forest, 6 miles of which are tended to daily surrounding the hotel. With only 40 rooms the hotel is very personal and winter sports orientated. It has no less than 4 saunas, a fitness area with Jacuzzi, play & TV room for the kids and sunbeds. (07/07 KM) Although the hotel is a mid 20th Century modern constructuion of brick it offers features and an air of tradition typical of a classic Swedish alpine hotel. The First Hotel Trillevallen is situated in the southern Are Alps approximately 85 km from Ostersund, where the main airport, shops and administrative offices for the region are located & 15 km from Are which is one of Sweden's most popular ski destinations. Mountainside 20 kms to city centre 85 kms to the nearest airport (ostersund) 8 km to the nearest station (undersaker train station) 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop
