The hotel is located in the city centre on the main shopping street, only 900 metres from the central railway station and near to the bus terminal. Only a short walk from the hotel is the harbour and new maritime museum. The hotel is of a good standard with many additional features, such as a nightclub, whirlpool, sauna and solarium to add value and benefit to any stay. The hotel was built in 1890 and its belle epoque style is evident in much of its architecture. A restaurant is available where breakfast is served. There is also a magnificent and elegant banqueting hall which is used for conferences and special events. A well arranged lobby with many period features, creates an impressive entrance focal point.
