First Hotel Atlantica is a beautiful and newly renovated hotel with personal service, situated in the heart of Alesund. The hotel faces the languid Brosundet Canal and offers a splendid view of the fjord and mountains. We offer complimentary WiFi access, free tea and coffee to all of our guests. The hotel was renovated in 2011, and offers 73 rooms in different categories. We are one of Alesund’s most urban hotels, and the combination with modern design, warm interior and intimacy creates a unique and welcoming atmosphere. Our main focus is providing personal service to our guests. The staff are creative, flexible and your needs is of high priority in our organization. The city of Alesund is known for its architecture in Art Nouveau style, its surrounding fjords and the high peaks of the Sunnmøre Alps. Walk up the 418 steps to the top of Mount Aksla and you will be rewarded by unforgettable panoramic views! Alesund is a natural starting point for an active holiday - with a beautiful coastline and skerries, deep valleys, fjords and spectacular mountains. You don’t need to leave the hotel to have a great meal in a charming atmosphere. Dining with us will give you just that. We have light meals such as snacks, burgers, pizzas and a la carte. We do change the menu every quarter to create verity for our guests and to follow the seasons. We combine traditions with impulses from abroad and our chefs are highly educated and flexible – they guarantee you value for money.
