This child-friendly Kitzbuhel hotel has a great location in the countryside between the town of Schwendt and the ski area called Kossen or Hochkossen. The Ferienhof Unterhochstatt is a farmhouse accommodation in one of the most beautiful spots Kaiserwinkl region. An extensive buffet is prepared for breakfast and authentic Austrian and Tirolean dishes are served for lunch and dinner in the cosy parlor; vegetarian options are available. Among the hotel’s spa facilities are an outdoor swimming pool, a stone sauna, a steam bath, and a massage room. Young guests will enjoy the indoor and outdoor play areas as well as visiting with the farm’s resident animals: highland cows, horses, pigs, chickens, goats, and rabbits. The hotel is just 3 km/1.9 miles from a local ski area called either Kossen or Hochkossen, which has some 35 km/22 miles of groomed ski slopes. It’s said to receive some of the best snow of any of the ski resort in Tyrol. The Ferienhof Unterhochstatt provides free shuttle service to the ski area, to the St. Johann or Kufstein railway stations, or to the Salzburg Airport. Other local attractions include the golf course called Kaiserwinkl Golf Kossen and a lake called the Walchsee.
