Set in the very heart of Tuscany, not far from Siena, Florence and Pisa, the farm enjoys an enviable location at a short distance from the unique towers-skylines of San Gimignano and Volterra. Just 1km from Montaione, it offers a magnificent view on the surrounding countryside: a superb landscape made of green hills, winding paths, cypresses, vineyards and olive groves. Urban settling down, grown around the ancient parish of San Regolo (11th Century), La Pieve still reveals the remains of the old church. The present owners have carefully restored the old village, with the highest respect of its original characteristics as well as of the surroundings, and converted the entire property into 15 tasteful apartments offering lovely guests accommodations of various types, where the tuscan tradition live again in each architectonic detail: in the typical archs, the terracotta tiled floors, the open wood beamed ceilings. At guests' disposal: pool, children pool, tennis, parking. The farmhouse is part of a bigger estate that extends over 30 hectares, where the family owner produces selected Chianti wines and a very good extra-virgin olive oil.
