Fantail Lodge is widely considered to be one of New Zealand's finest lodges. Fantail Lodge Garden Estate has its own restaurant Chapeau', catering mainly for house guests, but for local diners and special occasions - on a pre-booked basis. The lodge's restaurant is among the leading provincial restaurants near Tauranga, Wahi Beach and Mount Maunganui, owner Harrie Geraerts often giving the finishing touch to the creations himself. Harrie Geraerts' uncompromising commitment to five-star service and fine cuisine receives ongoing rewards. We cater for houseguests, private dinner functions, small and large, special occasions and celebrations. The accredited Fantail team welcomes special requests and with notice, nothing is impossible.
