Vanuatu has long been acclaimed for its pristine reefs and crystal clear waters, yet few resorts on the main island of Efate are situated on a natural beach setting. That has all changed with the opening of the brand new Eratap Beach Resort, located a short 20 minute drive from Port Vila, on a small, secluded peninsula where the lagoon meets the ocean. Eratap Beach Resort offers Vanuatus most luxurious accommodation. With only 12 individual beachfront villas, it exudes elegance. Built in a traditional South Pacific style of cool rendered brick, traditional high vaulted ceilings and thatched roofs, each of the 1, 2 or 3 bedroom villas are beautifully appointed with modern Asian and Melanesian furnishings. Each feature a separate lounge-room that flows through large timber and glass doors onto a deck overlooking the ocean, and all have a modern bathroom with private outdoor shower featuring natural rock walls. Yet, Eratap Beach Resort will offer much more than a stunning villa on the beachfront. A vacation at Eratap is an experience. Locally renowned Chefs have developed a menu with a focus on fresh, innovative menus. Owners Tony and Louisa Pittar have embraced the natural environment & engaged the local community to provide a positive impact on the neighbouring villages, and practice responsible tourism. This is the perfect place to relax and completely unwind and emerse yourself in the exquisite natural surroundings that seem another world away from home. Explore coastal forests, reefs, surf waves, lagoons, islands, mangroves and stunning white sand beaches. Kayak on the lagoon, unwind whilst fishing or snorkel straight off the beach. The pristine waters are teaming with sea life including brightly coloured corals and fish, even pods of dolphins. No other resort in Vanuatu can provide immediate access to such a variety of marine activities. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
