The lodge offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the places most favoured by our guests is the inside and outside dining area which overlooks a waterhole. This drinking spot is frequented throughout the day by many different animals and lit up at night. (Ro 0807) Epako cuisine is an elegant combination of traditional Namibian ingredients and French cooking, enhanced by fine South African wines and French champagne. A sumptious buffet-style breakfast starts the day. Lunch is light and tasty, served at pool side or in the air-conditioned dining room, while dinner is served either inside or at a leisurely pace around a campfire under the stars. 24 Single rooms Double rooms Twin rooms Triple rooms Non-smoking rooms Accommodation at Epako consists of 24 luxuriously furnished double bedroom units, all with bathroom en suite, telephones and air-conditiuoning and a mini-bar in every room. Satellite television can be viewed from the bar. At the begining of the day breakfast is served on the terrace with a view of an African sunrise. Situated approximateley 270 k north of Windhoek and 22 km north-east of Omaruru on the Kalkfeld road, the lodge is nestled on 11,000 hectares against a hillside overlooking the Epako River.
