Getting to the hotel: Elounda Aqua Sol Resort is 60km from Heraklion airport. Local Tips: The resort of Agios Nikolaos is located just 10km away if you want a change of scene and some livelier nightlife. The island of Spinalonga is a worthwhile day trip; the island has a fascinating history and was a former leper colony. Due to the hillside location of this property it is not suitable for guests with wheelchairs or those with walking difficulties. FACILITIES: Food, drink and entertainment: Main restaurant with buffet style service, A la Carte restaurant, cafe, pool bar and cocktail bar. The hotels entertainment team runs activities during the day and at night, including theme nights (payable locally) for all the family. Sport, games and activities: Two salt water swimming pools (one that is heated and covered in inclement weather) with sun terrace, tennis court (tennis equipment hire with charge), volley ball, bowls, darts, basketball, table tennis, fitness room, billiards, sauna, water-sports and a diving centre (independent of the hotel).
