The family-friendly, historical Elite Stora Hotellet Orebro is beautifully situated next to rebro Castle by the river Svartn in the centre of rebro City. Shopping, bars, clubs and other activities are all within a short walking distance of the hotel. There are links to the public transport system just 100 m from the property and the central train station is approximately 400 m away. The hotel was constructed in 1858 and is one of Sweden's most historical hotels. Guests will experience the atmosphere of a classic city hotel with stylishly appointed rooms and a real sense of superior service. In addition to the 133 rooms, the hotel features a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a safe, a cloakroom and lift access. Guests can wine and dine in the hotel bar, pub and restaurant, while business guests can take full advantage of the excellent conference facilities and WLAN Internet access. The hotel offers a laundry service and for an extra fee full room service is available. Also for an extra fee, those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the hotel car park or garage. The rooms are available in different sizes and can also differ in colour and furnishings but all rooms are en suite and feature a shower, bath, hairdryer and a double bed. A direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a radio, Internet access, a safe, an ironing set and tea and coffee making facilities all come as standard. In the interest of guests' comfort and convenience all rooms are fitted with central heating and individually regulated air conditioning. Some of the rooms have a fantastic view over the river and rebro Castle. All rooms are non-smoking. Guests can enjoy a good work-out in the gym and then a relaxing massage at the hotel for an extra fee. The sauna can be used for free and the nearest golf course is just 2 km away. A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning and both lunch and dinner are available la carte.
