The Elite Grand Hotel Norrkoping is centrally located, near the town hall, with shopping, theatre and other recreational activities within walking distance. Restaurants and bars are also located within a stone's throw of the hotel and the train station is a mere 300 m away. Built in 1906 and renovated in 2009, this city hotel wants to provide guests with a total experience that offers tradition, quality and luxury. The hotel is beautifully located by the Motala River in a luxurious building from the turn of the last century. The lobby bar, located in the heart of the hotel, serves as a natural meeting spot for socialising, eating, drinking or just reading a book. In addition to the 205 guest rooms, this air-conditioned establishment also features a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe and hairdressing salon. Guests can also relax in the TV lounge, pub and restaurant, while the hotel disco provides for some well earned after-dinner entertainment. Business guests can take advantage of the hotel's conference facilities and Internet access, while, for an extra fee, guests can also use the laundry and room services and those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the hotel garage. The rooms are decorated with that personal touch and are equipped with everything one would expect from a first-class hotel. Every room has cable-TV, a flat screen TV, a telephone, a bath tub/shower and a hairdryer. Other in-room amenities include a double bed or king-size bed, a radio, Internet access, a safe and a minibar, as well as air conditioning. All rooms are smoke-free and several of them are allergy adapted. Feeling good depends greatly on a sense of well-being. Spending a few hours on oneself is a good investment rather than a luxury. The hotel enjoys its own spa and relaxation centre, offering a large number of treatments. It also has a hot tub, a sauna and a relaxation room. Spa and massage treatments are offered by the professional staff and the nearest golf course is roughly 2 km from the hotel. A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning, while lunch and dinner are served from set menus and la carte. From Stockholm follow the signs towards the city centre and the central station. Turn right at the railway station, follow the street for about 300 m and guests will see the hotel on the left-hand side, just after the bridge. From Gteborg or Linkping follow the signs towards the city centre and the central station. Turn right at the Finspng roundabout (the Shell petrol station will be on the left-hand side), follow Norra Promenaden until reaching the central station, turn right and go on for about 300 m. The hotel will appear on the left-hand side.
