The Edith Palmer's Country Inn is located in the historical district. Part of the property was built against the Sun Mountain, while the other overlooks the Sugarloaf Mountain. Views of the 6-mile canyon to the Carson Plains are available from the property. The Edith Palmer's Country Inn offers guest rooms and suites located in three separate houses on site. These are the Edith Palmer House, Storey House and the Silver Street House. All units are complete with private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations. Suites have living areas and kitchenettes with facilities like microwave ovens and refrigerators. The Edith Palmer's Country Inn was a Victorian home built in 1863, reconstructed in 2000 and re-opened in 2003. This historic property features a stone patio in the courtyard and a waiting area with a fireplace and thick rock walls. Guests can enjoy meals at the Dining Room. The property also offers catering services for special occasions.
