The Ecoteer House is a unique community House based in the tropical paradise of Perhentian Island. Located in midst of a traditional Malay Village you will have a memorable experience. All guests will share dinner with a local family inside their home and have the chance to integrate with the village children. The project runs various projects which you can get involved in for example we run three weekly after-school clubs for the local primary school children - English Club Wednesday, Snorkel Club Thursday and Environment Club Friday Morning. If you stay for 2 nights or more a snorkel tour will be included where you can help collect coral bleaching scientific data using the Coral Watch method. You will stay in village owned accommodation. The rooms are all air con with ensuite bathroom. It's not just a hotel BUT an experience that financially benefits the villagers and helps improve their environmental awareness.
