Nestled in the heart of Torres del Paine national park, with panoramic views of the mighty granite pillars and surrounding glacial lakes, EcoCamp offers the region’s first truly ecologically-sustainable accommodation. Its green design comprises hydro+solar power (no diesel), high-tech composting, passive solar heating&lighting, and geodesic Kaweskar-inspired design which minimalises construction areas. EcoCamp has won NatGeo and Virgin sustainability awards and is the first ISO certified hotel in Patagonia. Guests join daily guided treks & soft excursions exploring the area’s lakes, glaciers, fjords, golden lenga forests and unique wildlife, then later relax in their eco-dome sleeping quarters, gazing up through the ceiling at the star-filled skies.
