Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa is located on 6800 wooded, rolling acres in the northwest corner of Illinois just six miles from the historic town of Galena. The charming 80-room Inn is located in the heart of the resort and overlooks Lake Galena. Unique to Eagle Ridge is the more than 300 1-8 bedroom rental homes available to accommodate any family or group. Best known for its 63 holes of championship golf on four award-winning golf courses. Other outdoor activities are tennis, volleyball, play area, biking, boating, fishing, hot air balloon rides and hiking and horseback riding on miles of paved and wilderness trails. Winter sports include sledding, skating and cross-country skiing. A major renovation of the pool, sauna and steam room was completed in 2007. Indoor fitness center and kids programs provide indoor activities for all ages. Dining-Woodlands Restaurant & Lounge Elegant and family dining with magnificent views of Lake Galena. Spikes Bar & Grill-Lunch and dinner in a breathtaking setting overlooking The General Golf Course. Paisanos: Italian-style dining. Eat-in, take-out or have delivered to your home or room. Shopping-Four clubhouses with quality golf merchandise. Peddlers, features apparel, gifts & children?s items. Stonedrift Spa boutique has unique gift items and signature spa products. The General Store offers guests all the essentials including movie rentals and gasoline. Offering 15,000 sq ft of meeting space. Meeting rooms take advantage of the scenic landscape with walkout patios and terraces. All indoor conference space was renovated in 2007 and offers ergonomical chairs, state of the art audio-visual, digital sound systems and wireless Internet. As one of the few areas in the Midwest protected from glaciers centuries ago, Stonedrift Spa is the perfect place to restore peace with ten treatment rooms, a couples suite, Vichy room, nail suite, relaxation lounge with fireplace, luxurious locker rooms and steam rooms. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
