Location This resort is located on the northern tip of Zanzibar on Nungwi beach. The resort's private beach is available for all guests to enjoy, with bar services to accompany the experience of a beautiful sunset over the Indian Ocean. The resort lies only an hour's drive from the historic Stone Town and airport. Facilities This resort features a pleasant blend of contemporary and traditional Zanzibari design. The exotic and elegant resort features modern amenities suited for both business and leisure travellers and comprises a total of 98 rooms. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and a hairdressing salon. There is a games room and the younger guests can let off steam in the children's playground. Refreshments are available at the cafe, 2 bars and breakfast room, while guests also have conference facilities and WLAN Internet access at their disposal. They can also take advantage of the laundry service and dine in the comfort and privacy of their room with 24-hour room service. Complimentary parking is also available to all guests. The hotel's well-trained professional staff are available to assist in planning guests' leisure activities and excursions along with beach sports and activities. Rooms The spacious and beautiful guest rooms feature a private balcony offering panoramic Indian Ocean views and are fully air-conditioned with a ceiling fan option. All come with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub, bathroom amenities and a hairdryer and offer a king-size bed. They are equipped with a direct dial telephone, an LCD TV with satellite channels, Internet access, a safe and a minibar/fridge. Furthermore, tea and coffee making facilities, an ironing set and individually regulated air conditioning and heating are provided in all accommodation as standard. All units also feature either a balcony or a terrace. Sports/Entertainment Guests may relax in the free-form outdoor swimming pool (one of two) and built-in pool bar which serves a variety of cocktails. There is a children's swimming area and guests can relax on the sun terrace with its sun loungers and parasols. Sports enthusiasts may enjoy a work-out in the gym and it is possible to relax with a variety of massage or spa treatments, daily yoga on the beach and live Zanzibari music every evening. Moreover, sun loungers and parasols are available for guests' use on the sandy beach. Meals Guests can enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast, while savouring the stunning ocean views from the hotel's restaurant. The midday and evening meals may be enjoyed in buffet form, from a set menu or a la carte and there are themed evening meals on offer, with mixed cocktails and live entertainment. Payment Guests can pay by cash, debit or credit card, including American Express, JCB, MasterCard or VISA. Misc. Check-in is from 2 pm and guests are required to check out by 11 am. How to get there Guests arriving from the south, from the airport, should drive along Amani Daraja Mbofu road to the Mkapa road junction and turn right. Head straight north on Nungwi Highway to Mkokotoni and straight to Nungwi, turning left at the signpost for Nungwi. Once in Nungwi village, follow the signs to the hotel. From the south, from the seaport, guests should drive to Malindi Police station along Malindi road and then continue straight along the Nungwi Highway to the hotel. Those coming from the East should take the Kinyasini Beach junction and turn right along Kinyasini Kivunge road to Nungwi village.
