Donner Lake Village is a year-round condominium resort nestled in the pines on the west shore of Donner Lake, one of the Sierra Nevada's most charming and beautiful alpine lakes. Conveniently located off I-80, just minutes from charming and historic downtown Truckee, it is removed from the hustle and bustle of typical Reno/Tahoe lodging. Two corner common areas offer panoramic views and comfortable couches within the cozy confines of the lodge. Outside, spend a relaxing afternoon in the sun in the courtyard, which offers barbecues, picnic tables, and lounge chairs all overlooking Donner Lake and the marina. Or, build a relaxing fire in the fireplace lounge overlooking the lake. Donner Lake Village has its own dock and marina with slips, where you can rent ski boats, personal watercraft, and fishing boats during the summer months. The only lakefront lodging on Donner Lake, these condominium suites range from lodgette rooms with queen-size beds and fold-out sleeper sofas to studios with fully equipped kitchens to one bedroom suites with separate living areas to the two bedroom/two bath townhomes. These lakeside units will reward you with breathtaking views of Donner Lake and the stunning sierras. At Donner Lake Village, the details have been taken care of, including complimentary coffee and tea, direct-dial phones, guest saunas, and DVD/VHS TV with cable. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
