The Dong Jiao State Guest hotel is located close to the Zhangjiang High-Tech Park in Pudong. People's Square and the centre of Shanghai are approximately 4 km from the hotel, while Shanghai railway station is around 3.5 km away. The Hailun Road metro station is around an 8-minute walk from the hotel, The Bund is a 10-minute walk away and shops on Sicuan Road are just 5 minutes away on foot. The hotel is Shanghai's largest garden-style state guest house occupying about 1200 acres, with 80% of the area covered in greenery. The entire area is divided into three parts with two centres. The main building area is for receiving important guests such as presidents and leaders of other countries. The meeting hall is mainly intended for high-profile guests. The room boasts a spacious 420 m and features an interior of astonishing luxury, as well as the finest audiovisual equipment. Offering 370 guestrooms in total, the air-conditioned city hotel has a 24-hour reception and check-out service, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access, a newspaper stand and hairdressing salon. Other shared facilities include a caf, bar, restaurant, room and laundry services, a car park and a garage. The hotel has all kinds of luxury rooms, all equipped with an international long distance telephone, air conditioning and Internet access. Each features an en suite bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer, as well as a double or king-size bed, satellite TV, radio and hifi. Other in-room amenities include a safe, minibar/fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, an ironing set and central heating.
