The name of our hotel was chosen not by chance. It was here that the famous Russian writer Feodor Mikhaylovich DOSTOEVSKY lived in 1861-1863 in the house of merchant A.A .Astafieva. At that time he had a 5- room flat on the first floor. Here Dostoevsky wrote his well-known lyrical story “The White Nights”.The hotel is well-located in the historical center of St. Petersburg just at the corner of Griboedov canal (the former Ekaterininsky Canal) and Kaznacheyskaya street (the former Meschanskaya street) within two- minute walk from the Underground “ Sennaya square”, “ Sadovaya”, “ Spasskaya” where you can change the line and easily get to any part of the city. All places of interests are within a walk distance. It will take you 10-15 minutes to get to Nevsky prospect, Isaak square, Winter Palace, the Admiralty, Mariinsky theater and some other places.
