The Dias Luxury Studios and Apartments are in Stalis and offer full hotel facilities. These modern apartments are bright and comfortable and set in a picturesque setting just 70m from the beach, suitable for families and couples. The beach at Stalis is a beautiful sandy beach with a gentle slope into the sea which is perfect for small children to enjoy playing in the water. There are 24 spacious rooms - some sleeping up to 4 people, a lovely swimming pool and a children's playground. Official rating 4* This accommodation does not have a 24 hour reception. If guests will arrive after midnight they should advise their arrival time by 'Special Request' to ensure staff are available to check them in on arrival. Local Tips: From Stalis you can go on day trips to Knossos and the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, or to Agios Nikolaos, Elounda and the island of Spinalonga. There are boats to the island of Dia, a few kilometres off the north coast or, enjoy a day cruise to the pretty, white island of Santorini. . FACILITIES: Sunshine, water, relaxation and good company is all on offer here at the Dias! Food, drink and entertainment: Lobby with comfortable sofas, plasma satellite TV - Home Cinema and Piano, 2 bars including Lobby and Pool/Garden Bar. Breakfast from 08:30am to noon then light snacks and tasty Cretan and Greek specialities through till 6.00pm Sport, games and activities: A large 200 sq.m. swimming pool with a separate children's section; water-quality tested on a daily basis, wooden beach chairs on the terrace, and lovely gardens. Pool table (at extra charge). For the kids: Safe playground for children and swimming pool. Additional: Reception, elevator, internet corner (at extra charge), WiFi free of charge in the reception and pool area, ramps for wheelchair and access for disabled guests, parking space, babysitting (on request & local charge), baby cots in the rooms, dry cleaning-laundry service, luggage storage, fax/photocopying, medical care (Doctors on call) and house-keeping.
