The Desmond Tutu Center is located on the campus of The General Theological Seminary in the center of New Yorks famous Chelsea neighborhood. The Center is part of the last remaining collegiate quadrangle in New York a has access to a city block of open green space ringed by more than a dozen beautiful historic buildings. The oldest building on premises dates from 1836. The Desmond Tutu Center features 60 beautifully restored historic guest rooms with custom designed furniture and state of the art amenities. The conference center combines the sophistication of 21st century technology with the historic charm of 19th century gothic architecture.
