The Days Hotel Gatwick (formerly the Gatwick Skylane) is a newly refurbished, contemporary hotel housed in a charming 17th century building conveniently located in Horley, close to Gatwick Airport making it ideal as a stop-over hotel. This welcoming, modern hotel property offers 74 smoke free rooms with comfortable furnishings and modern amenities. Situated 3 miles North of Gatwick Airport, on the main London to Brighton Road, and the A23, this hotel is easily accessible from the M25 and M23 motorways. Parking information The Days Hotel Gatwick is located 3 miles / 10 minutes drive from Gatwick airport. Leave the M23 at junction 9 and follow signs for Gatwick airport. At the first roundabout, go straight ahead. At the second roundabout, take the fourth exit onto the A23. At the third roundabout, turn right onto the A23 towards Redhill. At the fourth roundabout, take the second exit onto the A23 towards Redhill. You will see the hotel on your right after about 200 metres. On arrival, park in the hotel's car park where your car will remain throughout your holiday. Check in is from 14.00. The following morning you can take a free shuttle bus to the airport which runs every 30 minutes. On your return, there is a charge for the shuttle which is currently £5.00 per person. The shuttle departs from the north terminal at bus stop 8, and from the south terminal at bus stop 12. The journey back to the hotel takes approximately 10 minutes. Please note the hotel shuttle is available from 06:00 to 23:40, before 06:00 and after 23:40 a taxi can be pre arranged by the hotel for £6.00 for up to 4 people. FACILITIES: Food, drink and entertainment: Room only accommodation. The newly refurbished Watershed bar and restaurant has a welcoming Inglenook fireplace and original oak beams, and offers guests a choice of a la carte or table d'hote, with a wide selection of Real Ales, world wines and choice of menus to suit all tastes including a selection of homemade authentic Indian dishes. The hotel bar has a light menu and big screen Sky Sports. Additional: 24 hour reception, currency exchange, tourist information, left luggage facility, two function and banqueting rooms, wedding reception facilities, private parties and full Conference facilities, Christmas and New Year's party venue and planning, Wi-Fi available throughout the public areas and parking. Please note from 01st Feb 2011 a £3 per person/seat charge for the shuttle transfer will be required upon check in. The return transfer from Gatwick airport to the hotel is complimentary. Transfers to and from Gatwick Airport run every 30 minutes on a request basis between the hours of 6.00am and 11.40pm. Guests can contact the hotel from the Yellow FREE Phone located outside Gatwick terminals or book their run to Gatwick for the next morning on arrival at Reception (first come first-served basis!).
