The architectural style of this intimate boutique hotel is reminiscent of an upper Egyptian mayor’s mansion. Authentic to the core, the hotel’s architecture is complimented by superb interior design. Located in downtown Kafr El Gouna, Hotel Dawar El Omda has the distinctive aspect of being built partially over a lagoon and partially over land. Enjoy your stay in the oriental style rooms with large windows or terraces overlooking the pool or garden. Special touches include Wi-Fi internet access (charge), scented candles and a pillow menu. Dawar el Omda offers 34 newly renovated deluxe rooms with a prime location fronting the clear blue waters of the Red Sea. All deluxe rooms have either a balcony or terrace, whereby some of them have direct access to the lagoon through stairs that brings directly to the beach from your balcony. The larger rooms offer amenities such as flat screen TV with satellite TV, air-conditioning, safe box, hair dryer, mini-bar, coffee and tea maker, complimentary oriental sweet platter upon arrival, daily turndown service with chocolate glazed dates, bathrobes and slippers in all rooms, pillow menu, scented candles and direct dial phone. All deluxe rooms can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults and 1 child with either king/twin beds. Indulge yourself in the authentic oriental atmosphere of the Tableya restaurant and experience the real dining habits of Egyptian farmer’s at the Mayor’s House. Our main buffet restaurant is designed in a special way with mosaic floors and antiques to reflect the style of an upper Egyptian mayor’s mansion. El Omda buffet restaurant offers a wide selection of international and Egyptian breakfast dishes. For lunch we offer warm dishes and salads with a live cooking station. The hotels recreational facilities offer for example a heated swimming pool, a lagoon beach area, free access to Zeytouna Beach, a billiard table, a diving centre reservations desk, a bicycle rental and massage services. If you are booking for the Christmas and New Year period please note that there is a compulsory supplement for: Christmas Dinner (per person): € 80.00 New Year's Eve (per person): € 105.00 Children under the age of 12 get 50% reduction on the Christmas and New Year’s Eve dinner.
