Nestled on the edge of South Dartmoor, ten minutes off Dartmoor, the Dartmoor Lodge is easily accessible from The A38, midway between Exeter and Plymouth. The friendly atmosphere of this family run business is proving popular with both commercial and leisure clients. Our 'Hands on' approach, with us working as part of the team, encourages our staff to relax and converse in an efficient, polite manner, whilst retaining a friendly, but professional service. It is this Ethos that we believe, encourages our guests to return time after time. We are an ideal base for walkers & cyclists due to our close proximity to Dartmoor and have been accredited by Visit England on the 'Welcome' schemes for Walkers and Cyclists. Perfect for canoeists wishing to enjoy the white water in the area (River Dart) and select locations on Dartmoor. We are able to offer a drying room for your kayaking suits. Take a shopping trip to Exeter or Plymouth, visit the 'English Riviera' or the stunning South Devon Coast, all of which are only 25 minutes away, or just come and relax. With oak beams and an inviting real fire in our Bar and Restaurant we offer a real 'home from home' atmosphere, choose from either our light meals or full a la carte menu, using 'genuine' locally grown and bred produce.
