Located in the picturesque little town of Callander in the county of Perthshire, the Dalgair House Hotel is situated 18 miles to the northwest of Stirling. Lying along the A84 Stirling to Crianlarich road, Loch Lomond as well as Trossachs National Park are both to be found within a short distance of the hotel. Links to the public transport network, shopping venues, restaurants and bars lie just a few paces away. Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are both about 35 miles from the hotel. This small, family-run hotel was built in 1870 and comprises 3 floors with a total of 8 rooms of which 2 are suites. Facilities include a foyer, a pub, a games room and a restaurant offering an array of delicious dishes. There is a laundry service to take advantage of as well as a car park for those arriving by car. Each of the comfortable rooms comes with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a trouser press and central heating. Selected rooms feature a four-poster bed. It is possible to play billiards; the nearest golf course is just 500 m away. Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet; lunch and the evening meal may be taken la carte or chosen from a menu. Special dietary requirements and individual-specific dishes can be provided. It is possible to book a half-board stay.
