Daku Resort is vintage Fiji – all the delights of a comfortable traditional Fijian resort without the high prices of many modern luxury stays. It’s a magical place where you’ll soon feel like part of the family. Set in beautiful tropical gardens overlooking Savusavu Bay, Daku’s accommodation is a mixture of rooms in traditional Fijian-style bures (small houses), and self contained cottages and villas. The rooms all stand on their own and have their own deck. There’s a central bure with a bar and restaurant, and a swimming pool. Savusavu is an easy 25 minute walk or 4 minute cab ride. There are a range of activities at Daku or nearby – ranging from snorkeling on the fantastic reefs of Savusavu to kayaking, diving, hiking and fishing. The staff will be happy to help you arrange trips and excursions. And if you just want to relax and have a spa massage, that’s also available. Daku Resort has a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner is a set three course menu OR you can order from the menu. There are also special buffet nights.
