Crystal Mountain, the Premier Four season Family Resort in Michigan, is a family owned year round spa, ski and golf resort located 28 miles southwest of Traverse City. Situated on 1,500 acres, Crystal Mountain is located 28 miles SW of Traverse City, 35 miles NW of Cadillac and just a 20-minute drive from the crystal blue waters of Lake Michigan- an easy drive from Detroit and Chicago. Accommodations include over 260 luxury suites, guest rooms, hotel rooms, 1- to 5-bedroom condos, townhomes and resort homes, many with in-room whirlpools, accommodating over 1,500 guests on-premise. Activities and amenities include award winning Crystal Spa with its 12 treatment rooms, meditation lounge and outdoor meditation garden with hot tub. Crystal Spa is one of only six LEED certified -Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design- spa facilities in the nation. Other activities and amenities include 36 holes of championship golf, 45 downhill skiing runs, over 40 kilometers of groomed cross-country trails, water playground, the only alpine slide in Michigan, 32 foot climbing wall, outdoor 15-person hot tub, Crystal Mountain Golf Schools, kids programs, childcare services, summer chairlift rides, activities desk, restaurants, alpine shop and cross country ski shop, golf pro shop, IACC-approved conference facilities for groups of up to 400 people and more. Crystal is also home to the Michigan Legacy Art Park, a non-profit 30-acre outdoor park that blends art with nature. Its aim is to integrate art and nature in an ecologically sensitive environment. The Art Park is open year-round and also features a number of live performances in the outdoor amphitheater during the summer. Rates are based on double occupancy. USD 20.00 nightly per person fee will apply after the first two guests and be collected at the time of booking. Check-in begins at 5 pm in the winter and 4 pm in the summer. Check-out is 11am.
