A charming, small traditional Fijian property. Casual ambience. Located next to the Namaqumaqua "friendly" Village, a genuine Fijian village where many of the resorts staff live. By visiting the village guests are able to get a true taste of the real Fiji. The friendly atmosphere and interaction between the staff, guests and the residents of the village is what makes Crusoe's Retreat so exceptional. MP1008Seaview Bures have been built into the natural landscape. They sit on the hillside & are accessible by stairs and have spectacular panoramic views from their doorstep of the lagoon & ocean below. Each Bure is well appointed and equipped with the following: ceiling fans, mosquito nets & fly screens, tea/coffee making facilities, refrigerator, hair dryer, reading lamps, deluxe bathrooms and double vanities and double showers and private verandah with outdoor furniture. Located on the Coral Coast, approx. 2 hours from Nadi International Airport, 70 minutes from Suva. Set in lush tropical 10 acre gardens. Drive along Queens Highway, then 4 km of unsealed road, ending up on a private beach overlooking Fiji's famous turquoise clear waters. Crusoes's Restaurant, serving Fijian and international dishes, with a weekly local feast 'lovo', and 'meke' traditional Fijian dancers. Low rise bungalows scattered throughout the gardens. Small, functional lobby with a small shop to one side.
