Cotswold Hotel with Leisure in Chipping Norton Known as the gateway to the Cotswold, the Crown and Cushion Hotel is situated in Chipping Norton an attractive small town on the edge of Shakespeare Country. Originally a 15th century coaching inn dating back to 1497, the hotel offers guests the ultimate in comfort and luxury. An ideal base for touring the Cotswolds, Blenheim Palace, Warwick Castle, Broadway, Burton in the Water, The Tews, The Slaughters and Stratford which are all within easy driving distance. Restaurant In the beautifully appointed Courtyard Restaurant there are a choice of two menus, the Table d'hote offering a choice of starter, main course, dessert and coffee all at a fully inclusive price or alternatively you could choose from the A la Carte menu. Only the freshest of local or organically produced food is used in the Restaurant. Guest Rooms All rooms are well equipped and comfortable with en-suite facilities. For couples who wish to add some romance to their stay the hotel has traditional Four Poster bedrooms, some with separate TV lounge. The Coach House contains several deluxe bedrooms, there are also nine suites, which are larger than average and contain a separate lounge area with writing bureau. Most have traditional free standing cast iron baths and luxurious furnishings. Why not take advantage of the leisure facilities at the hotel, including a full size squash court, swmming pool and fully equipped gymnasium. Full Spa situated close by. Chipping Norton is situated in the middle of an area of outstanding natural beauty, in the shadow of the Rollright Stones. It is a perfect base for touring the beautiful North Oxfordshire Cotswolds.
