The Corinda's Cottages can be found sitting half a kilometer from the old Campbell street court in the city of Hobart. This quaint area offers a tranquil retreat with views of the city and Mount Wellington. During free time, guests can head to the Gallery of Fine Art, which is located in the center of the city. Others may find Hobart’s Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts a more appealing venue. Off-street parking is available for guests driving to the Corinda's Cottages. A variety of self-contained guest cottages are available in the Corinda's Cottages. These cottages were originally built in the 1850s, and now offer guests a comfortable accommodations in a rustic setting. The construction on the Corinda's Cottages’s main building was completed in 1880, and the cottages were built in 1850. Upon completion of the main building, the cottages were turned into the servants’ quarters. The original builder was Alfred Crisp, a wealthy timber merchant that later become Lord Mayor of Hobart.
