Copacopa Lodge and Conference Centre and Guest House is your gateway to Kruger National Park, the largest national park in South Africa, famed for its unsurpassed wildlife watching opportunities. The lodge is well located at Lambani, 15 km from the Punda Maria Gate leading into the northern end of Kruger National Park. Safari tours of this area of the park often include sightings of nyala antelope, impala, velvet monkey, baboon, hippo, Nile crocodile, elephant, lion, and wild dog – the helpful staff at the Copacopa Lodge and Conference Centre is happy to arrange day and night game drives in the national park. Guests staying at the Copacopa Lodge and Conference Centre are invited to spend time in the landscaped gardens where peacocks roam, and to make use of the vhuawelo, picnic sites equipped with barbeque grills called braai. Traditional African cuisine is served in the dining room, and Venda and Shangaan dances are sometimes performed. The Copacopa is also a memorable conference venue; its 100-seat auditorium features a movie screen, public address system, multimedia projector, and cordless microphones. Besides easy access to Kruger National Park, accommodation at the Copacopa is convenient to other attractions such as the Venda town of Thohoyandou, Phiphidi Waterfall, Thathe Vondo Sacred Forest, Lake Fundudzi, and Thulamela Archaeological Site. Fishing enthusiasts can walk to the Luvuvhu River, adjacent to the lodge and conference centre.
